This elegant rocking chair was designed to be used comfortably for a long period of time. A final successful ergonomic form evolved over a period of time. Particular attention is paid to the lower back area where the form of the steam-bent back pieces gives excellent lumbar support. The result is a beautiful heritage rocking chair that will last for generations.

Although it is increasingly becoming scarce, the Black Walnut is an ideal hardwood for all types of furniture making. It has an excellent strength to weight ratio. The rich brown color is superb and when properly finished can show a remarkable range of color shading and grain patterns.
