A unique slab of Curly American Black Walnut (Juglans Nigra) characterizes this work of art. The bookmatched distinctive-grain and exaggerated 3-dimensional patterns incorporated into the wings and body represent the spirit of a butterfly as seen through the eyes of a wood artist. The tri-legged, hand-turned pedestal base that is typical of classical tilt top tables complements the delicate butterfly top.

The table is hand finished with a durable oil-varnish to highlight the natural color and protect the beautiful character of the Black Walnut timber while giving the table a warm feeling to the touch.
